Brian McLaren: To Bless the Space Between Us

How can we listen to each other across our differences? How can we use our presence, words, and actions to bless the spaces between us? Join us for a formative conversation with author and public theologian Brian D. McLaren as he guides us into new ways of thinking and generative ways of living together.

Brian will preach all 3 services Sunday, April 14, and present lectures on April 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. in Founders Hall. All events are free and open to the public.

PHPC Serves

It is time again for us to be the church in the world by serving alongside our Mission Partners from April 11-14. Service projects are a great way to get to know new church members, share the mission of PHPC with a friend, or spend a morning as a family. Use the button below to learn more and sign up for service projects.

Diaper Drive

A lack of diapers is a hidden consequence of poverty. We are collecting diapers for Hope Cottage, an adoption, foster care, and parenting support organization. You can donate by bringing any size of diapers to the church or by shopping our Amazon link.

Upcoming Sermon Series

Listening for the Heartbeat of God

Our lives and world can be so noisy. It can sometimes seem impossible to carve out enough quiet to hear ourselves think, let alone sink into the silence so that we might listen for God. As we begin this new year, we will learn how to listen for the heartbeat of God so that our lives will find a holy rhythm in God. With the early Celts as our guides, we will come to discover life-giving spiritual practices that will help us listen so that through listening, we might live. I invite you to participate in this series so that you may live with intention and purpose this year.
