PHPC Assists in Asylum Seekers In Dallas This Weekend

    06.06.19 | by Rev. Kathy Lee-Cornell

PHPC is joining Faith Forward Dallas and Oak Lawn United Methodist Church to welcome migrant asylum seekers in Dallas starting this weekend!

The Dallas Responds Respite Center needs you to create a welcoming presence. Kids of all ages can create welcome signs and banners. Volunteers are needed on Friday to assist with set up. There will be a volunteer orientation on Saturday morning at 9:30 for all interested volunteers. The first bus will arrive Saturday in the late evening, and help is needed around the clock for the next several days.

Reach out to Rev. Kathy Lee-Cornell with questions or for more information. Monetary gifts can be made through PHPC by designating Dallas Responds Respite Center.
