Sermon at 6:30 Sunrise Service: The Story We Love to Hear by Rev. Elaine Dreeben

Sermon at 8, 9:30, and 11: Missing Jesus on Easter Sunday by Rev. Dr. Blair Monie

On a glorious Easter morning, the two Marys arrive at the tomb only to discover that Jesus has moved on. Later, Jesus appears to them saying, “Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” It seems that we keep missing Jesus because he moves faster than we do!

Shuttle Service
PHPC will offer round trip shuttle service from and to St. Mark’s School (north on Preston, south of Royal Lane) from 6:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., when the last shuttle leaves PHPC.

Flowering of the Cross
Bring flowers from your home garden, make a flower, or use the provided flowers to adorn the cross in Jubilee Plaza. The sixth century tradition of flowering the cross is an especially striking and beautiful way to symbolize the new life that emerges from Jesus’ death on Good Friday.

Petting Zoo in Jubilee Plaza
The Nicaragua Mission Team is sponsoring a petting zoo in Jubilee Plaza on March 24 and 31 to raise awareness for Nicaragua missions. The animals in the petting zoo provide a visual example of what rural Nicaraguan families will receive to help them move from subsistence living to economic independence. To make a donation, please make your check out to PHPC and write “NICA” in the memo line.
