Kathy's Favorite Books
Kathy Lee-Cornell is a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity, 2016) and the University of Texas School of Social Work (Master of Science in Social Work, 2016). Kathy is also a graduate of Pepperdine University (B.A. in Advertising, 2006).
Prior to entering seminary, Kathy served the denomination as the Site Coordinator for the Young Adult Volunteer Program of the Presbytery of South Louisiana (2008-2012), facilitating the mission service experience of yearlong volunteers in post-Katrina recovery areas. Kathy has served on the Advisory Committee for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance since 2008. Upon graduation, Kathy worked as the Interim Resettlement Program Supervisor for Refugee Services of Texas in Houston, serving refugees, unaccompanied minors, and their families.
Kathy’s husband, Alex, is also a Presbyterian Pastor and is currently working at Saint Barnabas in Richardson. Kathy and Alex have one son, Owen, and a much beloved dog, Thomas. Kathy is a first generation Chinese-American, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, where her love for food was nurtured and well fed. When not eating or thinking of what to eat, Kathy can be found enjoying long walks and listening to podcasts.
