Prior to entering seminary, Brian served as the Director of the Victory Special Needs Ministry at First Baptist Church of Irving, where he developed and coordinated the one-on-one assistance program.
While Brian was a student at Dallas Baptist University, he served in the International Office and as the Prayer Ministry Assistant until his graduation in 2017. After receiving his call to ministry, Brian served as the intern at Joni and Friends Texas and at Cornerstone Ranch, where he found a passion and desire to serve those living with special needs. Throughout his time at both organizations, Brian developed a discipleship program and Bible study materials for adults with additional needs.
Brian is passionate about sharing the Gospel with individuals that have additional needs and believes that Christ uses his own disability to minister to others. Brian is an Eagle Scout, was the chaplain in his fraternity, and was in the marching band while in high school. In his free time, Brian enjoys public speaking, writing and collecting vinyl records.
Brian Spann is currently pursuing the Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. Brian is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University (B.A. in Communications in Christian Ministry).
