Here are some ongoing events to consider:
First Friday of every month (September-May): “First Friday” luncheons are open to members, guests and the general community. The cost for the delicious catered luncheon is $10. After our fellowship meal In Jubilee Hall, we feature a noted speaker or entertainment. The luncheons begin at 11:45 a.m. and the programs start at 12:15, concluding at 1:00 or 1:30 p.m. In November, we celebrate our Annual Turkey Dinner instead of a Friday luncheon. The annual Turkey Dinner, occurs on the First Thursday in November each year. Our reservation line is 214-368-6348 ext. 252. Past speakers have included, former Associate FBI Director "Buck" Revell, Dallas Morning News columnist Steve Blow, Dallas Symphony executive Mark Melson, and UT Southwestern Medical School's professors Dr. Robert Haley and Dr. Dan Foster. Wonderful Wednesdays -- Painting Class: Every Wednesday we have a painting class meeting in the education wing from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. If you enjoy oils, acrylics or watercolors, or sketching, come to express your creativity. Our volunteer instructor enjoys assisting those with some artist experience. Join us for lunch after the painting class. No reservations required.

- 11:00 – “No Excuses” Bible Study in Jubilee Hall F led by Dr. Blair Monie (Offered September – May)
- 12:00 – Wonderful Wednesday Lunch fellowship in the north dining room (cost is $4.00 per person)
- 12:45-2:45 – Supervised Bridge Play for Men and for Women – Join us in Jubilee Hall F (first floor, south wing) for some social time with friends and neighbors. Gerrie Owen leads bridge play . No reservation required. Drop-ins welcome. No fee in January, $5 per week beginning February 2010.

1:15 -3:15pm - Third Wednesday at the Movies - Enjoy classical movies? We gather in Emmanuel Hall (first floor, south wing) on the third Wednesday of every month to watch a great movie on the big screen. No reservation required for this time of entertainment and fellowship.
Tai Chi classes are offered every Thursday year around. Interested in balance and coordination? Tai Chi might just be the "no sweat" activity you're seeking. Our professional instructor leads one “fast paced” class at 12:15 p.m. and another “easy going” class at 1:30 p.m. each Thursday. All are welcome to attend, and the cost is only $20 per month.
