The Music Ministry of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church is a ministry of joy! Through an active and vital music program involving vocal ensembles, handbell choirs and instruments, it is hoped that God will be glorified and that both performers and hearers will be moved to a closer relationship to God.

The Sanctuary Choir is a group of dedicated singers who lead both the 9:30 & 11:00 worship services each Sunday. Since Preston Hollow is blessed with many gifted singers, each member of the choir may choose the service in which they will participate. The choir sings a variety of styles of traditional church music in worship and also present several special concerts throughout the course of the year, often accompanied by orchestra. The special concerts also provide opportunities for singers to participate even though they may not normally be able to commit to weekly rehearsals throughout the year.

The Sanctuary Choir has commissioned a number of anthems and major works to be written. Through this process, the choir has sung the premiere performances of music by such composers as Bob Chilcott, Hal Hopson, Paul Leddington Wright, Ray Andrews and Anthony Di Lorenzo. The Sanctuary Choir has toured both within the United States and internationally on several occasions. They have been featured in performances for the International Church Music Festival in Rome, the Cambridge (England) Summer Music Festival, the Texas Choral Directors Association and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians national conference.
