Communion

“Do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19

The celebration of the Sacraments is one way Christians may affirm their beliefs, symbolize their union with God, and acknowledge Christ’s sacrifice made for each and every one of us.

At PHPC, Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month at the 8:15 a.m. service and the first Sunday of every even-numbered month at all services.  In addition, we offer special opportunities to participate in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper as listed below.

We open our arms and invite all baptized Christians who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to the table.

Families, we encourage you to determine on an individual basis whether your children understand the sacrifice represented in Communion and should participate.
