Hospitality

Ambassador. Diplomat, emissary, agent. At PHPC, our Ambassadors serve in one of the most important ways possible. They extend the hand of Christ every single time they beam a smile, offer a hand, hold a door, or answer a question. To be an Ambassador, you don’t even have to know your way around the church. You just have to have a desire to be a friendly, helpful ambassador for PHPC. If this is you, contact Al Watters.

It’s not just a cuppa-joe; it's a cuppa-joe from Joe; Holy Joe’s, that is! Paired with something tasty from Baker’s Dozen, PHPC members have an opportunity for a wonderful start to their Sunday mornings. And all proceeds benefit PHPC missions. If you would like to work the Holy Joe’s coffee and tea bar, give Tom Johnsrud a call. To help supply the baked goodies also served at the coffee and tea bar, contact Margaret Gall.

There is one group that is always rollin’. The Holy Rollers patrol our east-side parking lot on Sunday mornings to offer a golf-cart ride to the Atrium entrance to anyone who needs assistance, or anyone who just really wants a ride. To hitch a ride with this crowd, contact Hugh Griffith.

Did someone reach out to you with a welcoming phone call when you first visited PHPC? Working on Visitor Phone Calls may be just the way to share the warm feeling you had when were new to PHPC. If you would like to work with this important group, contact Steve Braskamp.

A welcoming smile is the most important skill requirement to work on the Ushers Guild. Our teams work together once a month to help worshipers find seats, hand out bulletins, answer questions, collect the offering, and straighten the sanctuary after each service. If this skill set is up your alley, contact Jay Scholten.
