Epiphany Ministry

January marked the start of a new year and the beginning of a new ministry between PHPC and The Arc of Dallas.  PHPC’s Epiphany Ministry includes the Epiphany Sunday School Class for youth (16+) and adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities, as well as the Artistic Expression Programs sponsored by The Arc of Dallas held on Sundays and Tuesdays at PHPC. Over time, PHPC's goal is to expand its role in this new ministry by recruiting volunteers with backgrounds in the arts to enrich the program's activities and by providing scholarships to individuals who cannot afford tuition.

Application for Artistic Expression Programs

This program offers participants the opportunity to discover and explore their God-given talents. The class is taught by Arc of Dallas staffers, while PHPC provides the physical space for the program.

ARC staff and trained volunteers will lead the class members to discover artistic talents through drawing, painting, drama, and music. Participants will also enjoy meeting new friends and sharing conversation over lunch(BYOBagLunch). Registration fee is $80/month. Scholarships are available by contacting the Dr. Fran Shelton.
