Young Adults

Whether you have Tinder or a ten year old, a solidified set of beliefs or a million questions,  we welcome you to our community of faith!

The PHPC Young Adult crew is a vibrant, diverse group of young adults, who study, serve and fellowship together. This ministry is new, thus we invite you to join us in this new and exciting work of community, growth, and learning, as we listen to the Spirit at work in our lives! No matter where you come from or how you got here, there is space for you, and we hope you will join us.

As a community of faith, we believe that we belong to one another.
We believe that face-to-face connection makes our world better.
We believe that God is active in this broken and messy world.
We believe that hope is contagious, and joy is necessary.
We believe in learning, and the power it holds.
We believe that all are welcome at God’s table.
And we believe this community of young adults matters- for us and for others.

Every Sunday evening the young adult group will gather together for fellowship and study. The first Sunday of the month we will do dinner together. The remaining Sunday evenings in the month, we will meet in the youth House (located behind the church in the parking lot), for community and study. There will be food and drinks provided, and plenty of room for everyone! All are welcome!

April 27-29: Young adult retreat weekend!
You are invited to join us for Thread's first ever Young Adult Retreat! We are going to get off the grid for a weekend, and spend a few days at Cedar Creek Lake (just over an hour east of Dallas).

While at the lake we will get to know one another and ourselves better, by learning about the Enneagram. We will cook food, enjoy the warmth of a fire, watch the sunset over the water, laugh a lot, play music, get outside, worship, and simply enjoy one another's company. It is going to weekend for relaxing, growing, and bonding as a group; so I hope you will join us!
