    Seeking Volunteers to Help Those in Need Register for the COVID-19 Vaccine?
    We Have Two Ways to Help Individuals Register for COVID-19 Vaccinations (In-person and online), please see below.

    In-Person Vaccination Registration – Event Volunteers Needed
    We are seeking volunteers for a Vickery Meadow Vaccination Registration event in partnership with Northwest Community Center on Saturday, February 27th. Two shifts available from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

    Online Vaccination Support from Home – Ongoing Volunteer OpportunityWe are seeking volunteers who can navigate the technical challenges of registering for COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments. Our newly formed volunteer task force seeks to support communities with limited access to technology and/or 1B qualified adults who require assistance in filling out multiple online forms. This is a remote volunteer opportunity that will be completed at home. Some positions require early morning availability. No experience necessary, training will be provided.

    If you are in 1B and need help with vaccination registration, we will have information on how to sign up on Feb. 25. (Please note this was pushed back a week due to the winter storms).

    Blessing Bags - Items Still Needed
    Due to the weather this past Sunday the Friends in Faith Blessing Bag project has been rescheduled for Sunday March 7. This means you still have time to donate items.

    Donations of new gloves, hats, toiletry kits, travel blankets, socks, hand sanitizer, and masks are needed. Items can be dropped off at Kayln Asher’s home or purchased and shipped directly from their Amazon Wish List. Click here to be directed to Amazon: https://a.co/4gQOem6. Please select Kalyn Asher as the shipping recipient.

    Please drop off or deliver to Kayln by Thursday, March 4. For more information or to arrange a drop off, contact Kalyn Asher at 214-724-9389 or  . These bags will be distributed by Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance volunteers during the city’s annual homeless count.
