Neighborhood Relief - October 23

    October 23, 2019 | News

We can't thank you enough for your generosity in this time of need. We have been amazed at the level of donations and volunteers who have shown up to go out into the neighborhood and deliver coffee, water, lunch and spread the love of Christ! We want to thank our friends from Highland Park Presbyterian Church and Temple Emanu-El Dallas for providing golf carts, supplies and volunteers!

As we continue to assess the situation in our neighborhood, surrounding areas, and local schools, we have put together a list of supply needs and volunteer needs in the coming days. Please see below!

We are also hosting a FREE community lunch on Friday, October 25 from noon to 4 p.m. in our parking lot! (weather permitting - in case of rain, we will move to the Youth House) Mi Cocina will be providing food, all are welcome! This lunch is for our entire community - even those not affected by the storm directly. We want to show love and fellowship to our neighbors, so feel free to come and invite a friend!

We will be in the Youth House from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday accepting donations. Volunteer spots are filled at this point for the next two days! We will be accepting donations and doing neighborhood coffee and lunch runs on Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to noon, if you would like to volunteer then!
