As I met with people last spring, I was taken aback by the number of people who would talk to me about their work, relationships, or grief, and at the end of the conversation, they would say, “I don’t mean to bother you. I’m sure I’m the only one who struggles with this!”
This Sunday we are going to kick off our new sermon series, Is it just me? Being human and walking a spiritual path means that we ALL struggle. We may not talk about our struggles, or want people to know what we are wrestling with, but we all wrestle with our work, relationships, and grief, to name a few.
Not only do I believe we all wrestle with these things, I believe the Bible and our faith has much to say to us about how we journey through these seasons.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we kick off this new series and grow deeper in faith. If you have a family member, friend, or colleague who feels like they are the only one who wrestles with an area of life, invite them to join us for this series!
