Wednesdays at Mission
June 5, July 10
Ages: Completed 3rd through 6th grade
Once a month during the summer, we will volunteer at one of our church mission partners and fellowship together. These day outings include places like the Presbyterian Village North, We Over Me Farm, and Literacy Achieves.
Vacation Bible School
9:30 a.m. – Noon
Ages: 3 (before Jan. 1, 2019) through completed 5th grade
We are going green for VBS this year as we focus on God’s beautiful creation, “The Green VBS”. This year we vow to not buy anything new, we will only use recycled or repurposed materials for decorations, art supplies and other needed materials. Each day, children will do service projects that will help us focus on how we care for God’s creation. 3rd-5th graders will take several off- campus adventures including a local community garden and look at how to implement new green initiatives for our PHPC church building. Come learn, serve and spend time with friends and strengthen our connection with God!
Noon - 4 p.m.
Ages: Completed Kindergarten through 5th grade
Come experience music in a brand new way! At Jam Camp, kids can sing, play games, move creatively, and play instruments. We had a blast at Jam Camp 2018 and we’re looking forward to another great year. Jam Camp runs from noon-4PM (afternoons after VBS). Children participating in both Jam Camp and VBS should pack a lunch. Come on out… jam with us and experience God’s love through music!
On Assignment: PHPC Journalism Workshop
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Ages Completed 5th and 6th grade
If you are interested in journalism and telling other people's stories - this new PHPC Kids program is for you! We will learn from local journalists, learn skills for writing and broadcasting, and publish an actual product by the end of the week. You will have a chance to choose which track you would like to follow for the week: broadcast or newspaper. Part of living out our faith is storytelling. Telling stories of how we experience God and how we are sharing God’s love. Students will report on PHPC member faith stories.
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ages: Completed 3rd Grade through Completed 6th Grade
At Camp PVN, kids will team up with the residents of a retirement community in north Dallas, just a few minutes away from PHPC for fun and friendship. A typical week at Camp PVN includes swimming, games, arts and crafts and much more. At Camp PVN, your next friend can be 9 or 90!
Super Happy Fun Week

Every single one of us has a unique identity which makes us who we are. We all have different beliefs, different tastes, different passions, different cultural backgrounds, different priorities, different hopes, and different dreams.
This year’s theme, Mosaic: Celebrating Our True Colors focuses on embracing our unique identities and accepting our many differences that make us each special and a valuable part of this world we live in and share together. We’ll join hands with the children from McShan Elementary and their families in Vickery Meadow, many who are from refugee families, for a lively week full of play, learning, creativity, music, and a healthy dose of silliness! That’s what Super Happy Fun Week is all about—so join us!
