Over the past 114 years, PCHAS has created programs that greatly improve the lives of children and parents by providing a continuum of care that enables us to help children and families in each stage of life:
Programs offered by Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services Texas include:
Maternity Services & Adoption program
Group Homes for older children to live with caring Home Parents
Foster Care team provides training and ongoing support for foster homes
Education program engages children every step of the way
Child and Family program for families in times of crises
Single Parent Family program provides safe housing and training
Transitional Living program supports foster children age 18+
PCHAS offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups, including seasonal and longer-term commitments. All Volunteers receive training and supervision and can serve as mentors, tutors and office assistants. Volunteers can also help out in our Group Homes in a variety of ways from providing transportation to coordinating a field trip.
