In honor of Mother’s Day, the PHPC Nicaragua Mission Team invites you to make a gift to support mothers and women in Nicaragua. Gifts received by Mother’s Day will unlock a $2,500 matching gift opportunity, all of which will provide training for women selected by our Nicaragua Mission Partner, CEPAD, to participate in their Women's Empowerment Program.
Your gift of $22.25 provides one training session for one woman.
$89 provides training for 4 women.
$333.75 provides training for 15 women.
Each year, CEPAD trains women on how to identify what kind of business are needed in their village and the skills needed to succeed. Previous participants in this program have become craft artisans and small business owners.
Give today, double your impact with our matching funds, and you will be investing in women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship, which are some of the most effective ways to lift families and entire communities out of poverty.
PHPC’s partnership with CEPAD, the Council of Protestant Churches in Nicaragua, began in 2007 and has blossomed into a deep relationship through mission trips, financial support, personal relationships, and monthly communication and prayer. CEPAD has a strong record of providing training to rural families in Nicaragua to help them overcome poverty and hunger. They teach skills that empower and produce multi-generational impacts for good.
