Sunday Offerings

There are a variety of ways to learn on Sunday mornings at PHPC. In addition to our short term series, Sunday School classes meet weekly on Sunday mornings for study and fellowship, as well as, opportunities for social connection and community service. There are classes for young parents, couples, and those of all ages and stages of life. 

Short Term Series

Are you a love-and-logic parent? A conscious parent? A whole brain parent? Figuring out your own parenting style can feel overwhelming and intimidating. Come join us to learn about how our faith can shape our parenting. We’ll shift our mindsets, grow in confidence and love, and practice a few strategies together. Questions?

Rev. Dr. Sarah Johnson, Senior Associate Pastor for Adult Learning and Engagement
Join us for lunch as Rev. Dr. Sarah Johnson shares with the congregation meaningful reflections from her sabbatical and where and how it has encouraged a healthy understanding of sabbath, sparked new ideas, and nourished her body, mind, and spirit for the ongoing work of ministry. Lunch is $10.

Each week Marty will delve into the context and meaning of the scripture that is the basis for that day’s sermon. Participants will be able to ask questions and are encouraged to contribute to the discussion. There is no preparation necessary.

Mahlon Hight, Congregational Care and Senior Adult Ministry Coordinator
At 10:30 Mahlon Hight will facilitate discussion about the scripture and sermon from the 9:00 a.m. Worship Service. No preparation is necessary, just bring your thoughts and questions and look forward to taking them further!

This class is for singles and couples of all ages and stages of life who are interested in informal Bible study and discussions on topics such as Christian history, current events and ethics.

This class is for parents who have children from infants to sixth graders and who are looking to form friendships and grow in your faith, your marriage and your parenting.

This class is for parents who have tweens, teenagers or college kids and who enjoy faith-based conversations related to Bible and theology studies, adventures in parenting and marriage as well as many other topics.

Epiphany invites youth (16+) and adults with unique abilities to participate in our enrichment programs.  Together we share needs, discover gifts, enrich lives and provide respite for families.  Our Sunday School curriculum is designed with special needs in mind.
