Service Between Services

Service projects are often seen as tasks to complete quickly. This Sunday, you are invited to join us between services to create snack bags for those in need. We will take our time to learn about the recipients and focus on meaningful connections, not just the number of bags made.

School Supply Drive

July 1 - 30

Each year, PHPC hosts a school supply drive in July to ensure our partner schools, McShan Elementary and Martin Luther King Jr. Arts Academy, have the tools and resources they need for a successful year of learning. Please help us continue to support our partners and friends in Vickery Meadow and South Dallas! You can donate by picking up a shopping list in the Atrium or using the link below!

We Make the Road by Walking

Once again, we will offer a slow stroll through an engaging book over the course of twelve months. Mahlon Hight will facilitate the monthly meetings to discuss Brian McLaren’s book, We Make the Road by Walking – A Year-Long Quest for Spiritual Formation, Reorientation, and Activation. Sessions will begin in September and there are two options for meeting times: Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own book.
