All Saints' Sunday is the day that we gather to remember all the saints who have shaped our faith, especially those who have joined the "great cloud of witnesses." We will hold a service of remembrance in the Columbarium Garden at 8 a.m., followed by our usual 9 a.m. contemporary service and 11 a.m. traditional service. All services will include communion and the tolling of a bell in memory of those who have passed into eternal life during the past year. The Sanctuary Choir will offer Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem during the 11 a.m. worship service on November 2 (All Saints’ Sunday). The work, renowned for its soothing beauty and hopeful spiritual outlook, will be accompanied by orchestra. During communion, we will pass the trays instead of coming forward for intinction to limit movement while the choir sings.
