When they take a day off, we take a day on. During certain holidays, the kitchen staff of The Stewpot’s Second Chance Café at The Bridge are given well earned days off, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner are still served to anyone who walks through the door. Over the past year, PHPC and Temple Emanu-El volunteers have partnered to provide 300 sandwiches and lunch bags on alternating holidays. This summer, we are excited to come together for two joint volunteer events: Juneteenth at PHPC and Labor Day at Temple Emanu-El!
