The Latin word “peregrinatio” means “pilgrimage.” For the Celts, this was a practice of holy adventure, where you simply walk out your front door to wander in search of God, and for the love of God. It’s another way the Celts practiced being alive to God’s presence all around them. And it doesn’t require anything but a little time, some walking shoes, and a willing heart. Danielle Shroyer has created this 20 minute guided walking meditation for those who would like to try out this Celtic practice on their own.
