A Message From Our School Chapel Team

December 28, 2021

It has been a great joy for us to lead chapel this fall and walk alongside your young person as they seek to grow in faith. Thank you for that privilege and for making chapel a priority for your children and the PHPS staff. In the last several months we have talked about how we share love, joy, patience and generosity with ourselves and others. We have learned several songs, including the beloved “My Lighthouse”.

During this holiday season, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to celebrate Christmas Eve with the Preston Hollow Presbyterian community. We have several chances for your families to participate in worship:

  • Travelers Service on December 19 at 7pm in the PHPC Chapel - If you are going out of town, but don’t want to miss Christmas here in Dallas, join us for the Travelers Service. It will be complete with all your favorite carols and candle lighting!

  • Christmas Eve Family Service at 4 pm - Children are invited to come early and join the throng of angels, shepherds, and kings as the Christmas story is told in the service. No preparation is required, costumes are provided. Everyone participates as we sing familiar carols.

Additionally, we want to take this moment to reiterate that families are always welcome in chapel! In support of all our parents present, beginning in January, we will have coffee in Founders Hall every Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. You are welcome to arrive early to enjoy some coffee and visit with other parents.

We look forward to seeing your children in the new year. Merry Christmas!

Grace and Peace,
