Join Us in Celebrating World Disability Pride Month

December 28, 2021

The month of July is Worldwide Disability Awareness Month designed to promote the awareness of people impacted by disability.

As a church family, it is important to us that all people no matter their ability fit into the fabric of the worship, fellowship, and outreach offered by PHPC. We make sure to provide accommodations necessary to ensure that all people have access to worship God & participate in the community of our church.

We recognize Worldwide Disability Awareness during the month of July because it coincides with the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 26, 1990. The passing of the ADA gave the millions of Americans living with disabilities equal access to public spaces, transportation, & employment opportunities.

This month is the perfect opportunity to discuss empathy & introduce disability to your family. For more information visit the resources provided below.
